HOW DOES THE LAUNCHPOINT RESUME PROCESS WORK?

  • We will begin with a free consultation via telephone or email to determine your specific career objectives and the package that will suit you best.
  • Resume writing is a collaborative process, so if you choose a professional service, we will take time to understand your background before writing your resume.  All revisions done during this process are sent via email and you are responsible for providing feedback, as needed. 
  • Should you choose to utilize our DIY shop, simply browse the items you wish to purchase, fill out the payment form information, and check your email for a downloadable link to your items.  Please note that this link expires 24 hours after opening.
  • LaunchPoint Resume will work with you until you are 100% satisfied with your product!


 
WHAT DO I RECEIVE?

Depending on the professional services you choose, you will receive hand-crafted resume and cover letter documents in a word doc format.   When you choose a professionally designed, custom resume, you will receive all documents in a high resolution PDF format.  This helps ensure all formatting elements remain intact during application submissions.
 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We offer two package options starting at $95 for a resume revamp and $150 for complete content overhaul.  We also offer additional services that can be added to our writing packages at an additional cost.  Those services include interview strategy, LinkedIn strategy, and resume design options. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SERVICES?

All payments are securely processed through PayPal.  We accept payment using all other major cards through your PayPal account.

 

CAN I EDIT MY DOCUMENTS?

Yes, of course!  Both our downloadable resume templates and professionally written documents are sent to you in word doc format, allowing for simple edits.  Of course, we have your back during the job search process: should you need additional information added, we are happy to update your resume moving forward.  These type of edits are somewhere between $10 - $30, depending on the level of change.

Because our designs are personally created by our staff, we cannot offer the source files for your resume for custom resume designs.  Not only will we work with you until satisfied, you are also entitled to free content edits within 90 days of the original product creation, should your career objectives change.  We value our clients, so additional edits are somewhere between $10- $30, depending on the level of change. 

 

HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?

We respond to all contact inquiries within 48 business hours of your initial request.  After your consultation with Lauren, you will receive your first draft within 72 business hours; however if you are in a time crunch, let us know and we will do our best to speed up the process!

 

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A DESIGN OPTION WITH MY RESUME REVAMP?

No, you do not.  LaunchPoint Resume offers resume writing services as a stand alone option- just purchase the"Resume Revamp" or "Complete Content Overhaul" package.  In this case, you will receive a resume and cover letter rewrite done by a Certified Professional Resume Writer in a traditional doc format.  Submit your name and email information on our contact page, and we will contact you with next steps.
 

CAN I PRINT MY DOCUMENTS?

Absolutely!  We'll send you a file for uploading, as most applications today are done online.  Hard copies are always needed for interviews so we can provide hard copies of your documents.  Printing instructions are also included as you receive your final product.

 

WHAT IF MY RESUME IS MORE THAN ONE PAGE?

No problem!  Unless you are an entry level employee, many resumes will be longer than one page.  Most resumes we custom design will fit onto one page, as LaunchPoint Resume's resume designs consolidate your information into an organized format that allows for a shorter final product.  Should your resume require more than one page, there is an additional $10 charge per page.
